Ms. Figgins graduated from Florida State University in 1994 with a B.A. in History and received her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 1998. Following many years working in legal aid services and as a judicial staff attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida, Ms. Figgins joined Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. (LASO) in 2012 as Director of Mission Advancement. Following the devastating EF-5 Moore Tornado in 2013, Ms. Figgins became involved in disaster response and currently oversees LASO’s statewide disaster response program. Ms. Figgins also serves as Chair ex officio of the Oklahoma Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (OKVOAD),and currently serves as a State/Territory Representative and as Secretary of the Board of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). Ms. Figgins is a member of the Florida Bar.
