Natalie Minev is a staff attorney with the Housing & Communities Work Group in the South Los Angeles office of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Natalie focuses on providing holistic legal and capacity building services to both low-income residents and tenant organizers throughout subsidized and rent-controlled properties in Los Angeles that are at risk of converting to private market rate housing. Natalie joined LAFLA in 2015 as an Equal Justice Works fellow focused specifically on preserving project-based Section 8 properties that were facing imminent affordable housing covenant expirations and opt outs. Before joining LAFLA, Natalie served as an attorney at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles in its real estate and consumer protection unit. Natalie graduated from UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 2013 with Pro Bono Distinction and was awarded the Dale Minami Public Interest Fellowship Award.
